JuliusKramer

Julius Kramer drew critical attention at the New Jersey Fine Arts Annual Exhibition when the New York Times said, “Though he was born in 1920, Kramer paints with a freshly minted gusto. His abstract paintings are inventive and complex, and have the authority of someone who was there at the source”. He was educated at The Brooklyn Museum Arts School, the American Artists School and at the Arts Students League. An inspiring teacher, he served as Art Supervisor for the Franklin School in New York City and also for the Cheshire Union in Massachusetts.

Mary Nicholas was educated at Cooper Union, The Brooklyn Museum Art School, the Fashion Institute of Design and at The New School of Social Research. Her creativity always draws an emotional response and an element of whimsical fantasy imbues all her work in wood and paper sculpture, watercolor and oil.

Together and individually, both Kramer and Nicholas have been exhibited in major museums and galleries throughout the eastern United States, Chicago, Paris and Japan.
