Mayor Wildes led a forum at Englewood Library that addressed immigration issues and why these changes in enforcement are happening, what rights all residents have, what is happening to children who are U.S. citizens when their parents are detained or deported, and what the responsibilities of local officials are. The event was sponsored by the Bergen County Branch, People's Organization for Progress. Mayor Wildes is also the Chair, Immigration Committee, NJ League of Municipalities and a member of the NJ Blue Ribbon Panel on Immigrant Integration.
