| Beitar Mayor Pindrus to be hosted by Englewood Mayor Michael Wildes Beitar Mayor,
Yitzchak Pindrus, in his upcoming trip to New York next week, will be
hosted by Michael Wildes, Mayor of Englewood, New Jersey, at his office
located at 20 North Van Brunt Street, Suite #4,
Englewood, NJ 07631, between 1:00 and 2:30 PM.
Beitar, a
15-minute drive from Jerusalem, was established 13 years ago, and today,
over 25,000 people call it their home, including hundreds of American
families who have made aliya. The City of Englewood, boasting a vibrant
and active Jewish community, has always been in the forefront of
supporting Israel, and it is in this spirit that Englewood's newly elected
Mayor, has invited Mayor Pindrus to meet with the community, and give
an opportunity to express its continued support and solidarity with
the people of Israel, during these difficult days.
" I would
like to invite the residents of our city to come and meet the Mayor
of Beitar, with whom I eagerly look forward to establishing a close
relationship. Because Israel is so paramount in our lives, it is important
to express our deep interest in her survival and success, and being
that Beitar and Englewood share approximately the same population numbers,
I anticipate developing close ties between our respective cities," noted
Englewood Mayor Wildes.
